Senator of the Month
Bradley Heath, Senator of University College
Bradley Heath, a first-time senator for the University College, has won Senator of
the Month! Bradley is a second-year, pursuing a BBA in marketing. Bradley has committed
himself to creating a new learning community for students with disabilities. The learning
community will allow students with similar identities to take classes together, live
together, and be a source of support for one and other. The learning community is
currently in the process of drafting a resolution to establish its creation. As a
member of the governance committee, Bradley has also focused his efforts on establishing
a legislative branch for SGA.
Bradley chose to join SGA because he wanted to make a different on campus. While KSU was not his first choice, he immediately changed his views as he grew a newfound appreciation for the school, its brand, and his peers. KSU is full of opportunity and Bradley hopes to make everlasting impacts for students in the years to come.
Bradley’s advice to his fellow peers it get involved on campus! He recalls not participating in any college events or organizations his first-year as a student and found that it led to increased procrastination when it came to school more. As he became busier after joining different clubs, he found himself being more productive and learning about the value of time. Bradley is currently a marketing intern for the KSU athletics department, employee at The Battery Atlanta, and is a part of the Corporate Sponsorship Committee for KSU Miracle.
